Becky Maydew

beckyEarly life, the time between birth up to 20, is an almost constant state of transition or change . Many of us find change challenging and this can lead to various difficulties. I am qualified to work with Young People and Children to help them navigate and understand the challenges that may arise.

I work from a Person Centred basis which means I “come along side” my client to view their situation from their perspective. However, I also call on many other strategies, theories and interventions, as may be appropriate to the client’s issue, understanding or personality. In other words, therapy is tailored to each individual.

So if you, or someone you know, is experiencing difficulties with such things as:-

• Anger issues
• Low Self Confidence/Esteem
• Bullying
• Friendship Groups
• Self Harm
• Anxiety
• Low mood
• Loss/Bereavement (including Separation, Divorce)
• Panic Attacks
• Stress
• Eating Disorders

please do not hesitate to contact me.
