Social Media for Therapists Professional Masterclass

Running your small therapy practice is no different from running any small business ; you need paying clients. Social media is an ideal marketing tool for small businesses to enable them to get those clients in that done right, costs are low for the size of audience you can reach. However, for the therapeutic community the use of social media can seem fraught with problems not least because of concerns around having the skill set to be able to set it up and use it; but also because we all work within ethical frameworks that demand that we do not exploit our vulnerable potential client base and that we provide confidentiality and protection. For this reason many therapists avoid using this valuable tool altogether.

That’s why we at WWCS have teamed up with professional small business social media trainer Jason Squires who has designed and written a Social Media Masterclass specifically for therapists and counsellors. This 1 day masterclass will enable you to learn how to use Social media to develop a targeted following of your practice, engage with your potential client base both therapist to client and therapist to businesses and valuable mental health stakeholders such as GPs, charities and local authorities in your area and then convert into paying clients or paid contracts.

The course content will cover:

1. Developing your Social Media Strategy & Plan
2. Using Social Media within an ethical framework
3. Optimising your social media profiles
