Surviving the Life-Quake…

Recovery Workshop for partners or former partners of men with problematic compulsive sexual behaviours.

For the partner or former partner of a sex addict, feelings of shame and isolation are often an all too common legacy that remains with that person even after recovery has been in place for several years. This sense of shame and isolation often prevents the partner from feeling able to get support to come to terms with the normal feelings of sadness and anger that may not only have been felt at the time they discovered their addicted partners behaviour but which can continue long after discovery.
Karen Lloyd is a registered and accredited Relationship and Psychosexual Psychotherapist who knows and understands the importance of providing effective support to the partners and families of sex addicts so that they too can recover from and come to terms with the effects that their partners addiction has had on them. Karen is running this facilitated workshop to support partners and former partners of sex addicts so that they have a safe and confidential place for reflection and self-discovery. It will also provide an opportunity to connect with others who have experienced the devastation of discovering the man they believed would never betray them has in fact had a whole other secret life.
The workshop will take place in the beautiful city of Oxford at Lady Margaret Hall, offering an opportunity to spend the day healing with other partners at a peaceful location in this lovely Oxford University college.
